Nicely done. The metal and glass are very convincing without being overly shiny. I find those big, glowing white gears to be distracting, though, especially the ones in the upper left.

Awesome indeed. I can understand how the glowing gears might be distracting. But I like to insert context into the image. I don't find the gears to be distracting because I imagine them to be the Engine Goddess's proxies - they follow her and check to see if the area around her is safe... or something like that.

Enjoy this concept for a character. She rather well rendered, which helps to bring her forward from areas of red. Dark area behind character depicts a sense of depth beyond doors seamlessly. Red door is of nice design, only it appears some-what flat when compared to her, perhaps adding some shadows to inner portion at least to add depth to their form.
